 1. Sunday Roast

A British classic: the Sunday Roast! What better way to show your love than by cooking your dad an incredible Sunday roast! invite the family and friends over, gather round and enjoy some traditional home cooked food. Everyone loves a good roast with Yorkshire puds and gravy, don’t they? If cooking is not your talent then why not take him to a local pub, where there may even be a father’s day deal! Relax and enjoy splendid food, a perfect pint and maybe even indulge in a dessert!

 

2. Day Trip

From the beach to the zoo, theme parks to theatre shows, the UK has a lot to offer for fantastic days out! A day out can tailored to suit your dad’s hobbies and interests, and doesn’t have to be far from home. There are also many deals which can be found online for family days out! With natural beauty such as the national forest, it doesn’t even have to cost to take dad out for a special day! Why not put on your walking boots and wellies and discover some amazing scenery on a walk or picnic- maybe even throw in a pint at the pub!

What better way to relax and unwind than escaping for a few days! A city break home or abroad can allow you to discover major tourist attractions and enjoy fantastic events and activities. Why not treat dad to a Guinness tour in Dublin, see the historic sites in Berlin or scare him in the London dungeons! If a city break isn’t for you why not try somewhere rural? A typical favourite for men- the footie! If the weather is good why not have a BBQ and set off some fireworks after you’ve eaten all you can. Invite your family, friends and neighbours to enjoy the show!
